Position Overview
Amazon is seeking a dynamic and passionate Social Media Manager to join our marketing team in Clementon, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement, enhance brand awareness, and ultimately contribute to the company’s bottom line. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and understanding of social media trends will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's online presence and customer connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Amazon's marketing objectives.
- Manage all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that resonates with our audience.
- Monitor social media channels for customer engagement and respond promptly to comments and inquiries.
- Analyze performance metrics of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and digital marketing to ensure Amazon remains a leader in the industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to align brand messages and campaigns.
- Conduct social media audits to assess strengths and weaknesses and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage social media advertising budgets and assist in the creation of targeted ad campaigns.
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance for upper management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proficient in social media platforms and tools, including Hootsuite, Canva, and Google Analytics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to analyze competitive landscape and social media trends to inform strategy.
- Proven track record of successfully managing social media campaigns that drive engagement.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas that align with our brand.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
